A delegation from the Office of Science and Technology, Zhejiang Province paid a visit to Hangzhou Institute of the College of Engineering recently. Deputy director of the Office Mr. Hongli Wang headed the delegation. They were warmly received by dean of Hangzhou Institute Mr. Duoxiang Wang and executive dean Mr. Ming Xu.

Hangzhou Institute is a branch of the College of Engineering located in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province, which devotes itself to technology research and transfer in cooperation with the local government. The current research areas include micro/nanotechnology, communication, measurement and control as well as medical devices.

After touring the institute’s exhibition hall, research rooms and labs, Mr. Hongli Wang expressed high appraisal of the institute’s projects and its mode of development. He held a deep discussion with dean Duoxiang Wang and offered many constructive advice including system reconstruction, enterprises integration and marketing of the project results. He hoped that the institute would speed up its development and provide vigorous strength for the technology reform of the enterprises in Zhejiang.
